Grants for Staged Productions of Handel’s Operas
The Handel Institute offers a grant of up to £5,000 towards a production of an opera by Handel. ‘Opera’ means a work that Handel considered to be an opera: one of his works in Italian that he performed with sets, costumes and action; and which contains at least some music by him.
The production company may be professional or amateur or a combination. The current closing date for applications is 30 November 2024, for a production to take place within two years of the award being made.
